When Spring starts making it's way to Wisconsin, I'll offer a writing workshop at Mystery to Me, a wonderful indie bookshop in Madison. We're still working out the specifics, but I know it will involve discussion and active exploration of the process and practice of writing. Writers in all genres and at all levels are welcome. Writers Panel at Fox Cities Book Festival

I’ll join fellow writers Wendy McLure and Mary Kubric on an author’s panel in the Fox Valley Communication Art Center on Sunday afternoon, in one of the last events of this Festival. Since all three of us have distinct subject matter and approaches, I think our real-time discovery of common ground and notable differences should be interesting! Working in different genres, trusting the writing process and developing characters will be among the topics we discuss.

Waves of Inspiration is a writers' conference dedicated to exploring multiple sources of inspiration for writers.
